About JMI M.A. Visual Effects & Animation
M.A. Visual Effects & Animation at Jamia Millia Islamia is offered by the AJK Mass Communication Research Centre as a self-financed programme. Admission is through JMI’s own entrance test, which in 2026–27 carried programme code M23.

Who can apply
For 2026–27: Graduation in any discipline (10+2+3) with at least 50% marks. Applicants must be proficient in Windows; knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator is desirable. Final-year students should check the prospectus for rules on appearing candidates.
