About PG Diploma in Educational Management
Educational management deals with how schools, colleges and education programmes are planned, run, financed and evaluated. It brings together educational policy, leadership, administration and quality assurance.
JMI's Department of Educational Studies, in the Faculty of Education, offers a one-year self-financed P.G. Diploma in Educational Management. The 2026–27 prospectus lists only 10 seats, so competition for each seat can be close.
The diploma suits teachers, school coordinators, education-sector professionals and graduates who want to move into administrative or leadership roles in schools, NGOs and education projects.

How admission works
JMI's 2026–27 prospectus states that admission to its programmes is made on merit determined by an entrance test conducted by JMI, followed wherever applicable by an interview and/or other components. With a small intake, a well-prepared written answer can make a real difference.
If the test has a descriptive part, note that JMI's prospectus says candidates scoring less than 30% in the descriptive part, wherever applicable, are not shortlisted.
