JMI Diploma in Unani Pharmacy Entrance Coaching
Preparation for the entrance to JMI's two-year, self-financed Diploma in Unani Pharmacy, taught in the Faculty of Life Sciences.
About Diploma in Unani Pharmacy
Unani is one of the traditional systems of medicine recognised in India under AYUSH, and Unani pharmacy deals with the identification, preparation, storage and dispensing of Unani medicines. JMI's Diploma in Unani Pharmacy trains students for this work in dispensaries, hospitals, pharmacies and units that manufacture Unani formulations.
The diploma is a two-year, self-financed programme of the Faculty of Life Sciences. When it began, JMI was reported to be the first central university to offer a Diploma in Unani Pharmacy. The 2026–27 prospectus listed 40 seats and an annual fee of ₹52,475.
Students complete an internship after the course, and in 2024 JMI reported that seven students of the programme had received job offer letters. Admission is through JMI's process for code D21; check the 2027–28 prospectus for the entrance date and eligibility.
Who can apply
JMI sets the eligibility for D21 in the entrance schedule annexed to its prospectus. Check the 2027–28 prospectus for the qualifying examination, required subjects, minimum marks and any age condition before you apply.
