Meer Sir Research Centre (MSRC): research and thesis guidance
Guidance for Ph.D. scholars, postgraduate students, faculty and independent researchers: research design, methodology, dissertation structure, academic writing and journal submission, from Jamia Nagar, New Delhi.
About Meer Sir Research Centre
Meer Sir Research Centre (MSRC) is the research-support wing of Meer Sir Academy. It helps researchers turn a broad topic into a focused question, choose a sound method, organise chapters and prepare a clear, well-referenced manuscript.
Guidance is led by Dr. Mohd. Iqbal Mir (Ph.D., IASE, Jamia Millia Islamia; M.Ed.; UGC-NET), with a focus on education, sociology and the social sciences. The research, data and findings always remain the researcher’s own.

Choosing the right journal
Journal selection
Match your paper to a journal’s aims and scope, and check ISSN, indexing (such as UGC-CARE or Scopus), peer-review process and any publication charges before you submit.
Avoiding predatory journals
Learn the warning signs: guaranteed acceptance, very fast review, unclear editorial boards and misleading indexing claims.
Submission package
Prepare the manuscript to author guidelines, with a cover letter, abstract, keywords and declarations.
Peer review and revision
Plan point-by-point responses to reviewer comments and revise the manuscript accordingly.
Workshops and presentations
Sessions on research methodology, proposal writing, literature reviews, citation management, academic writing and conference presentations can be arranged for groups and departments.
How we work
MSRC provides guidance, feedback and manuscript-preparation support. The research, data, analysis and findings remain the researcher’s own, and researchers are responsible for following their university’s and publisher’s policies on originality and ethics. Journal acceptance or indexing is never guaranteed: editorial and peer-review decisions belong to the journal.
