About B.Des. (Bachelor of Design)
Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) is a four-year professional programme for students interested in visual communication, products, spaces, user experience and creative problem-solving. A good aspirant learns to observe, imagine, visualise, communicate and solve problems.
JMI offers a regular B.Des. through its Department of Design and Innovation, with three specialisations: Communication Design (graphic design, typography, illustration, branding, digital media), Interior Design (space planning, furniture, materials, lighting) and Product Design (form, function, ergonomics, prototyping, innovation).
Students targeting 2027–28 should prepare on the latest available requirements and check the new JMI prospectus when it is released.
