B.Voc Medical Laboratory Sciences Entrance Coaching
Focused preparation for JMI's B52 entrance test, which covers B.Voc Medical Laboratory Sciences, Medical Electrophysiology and Molecular Diagnostics, built on a strong Class XI–XII PCB foundation.
About B.Voc Medical Laboratory Sciences
JMI offers three self-financed vocational programmes in medical and diagnostic sciences through DDU Kaushal Kendra, grouped under the common admission code B52: Medical Laboratory Sciences (MLS), Medical Electrophysiology (MEP) and Molecular Diagnostics. All three combine academic study with practical, skill-based training in healthcare.
MLS focuses on laboratory techniques for disease diagnosis: pathology, haematology, clinical biochemistry and microbiology. MEP deals with measuring the body's electrical activity, such as ECG, EEG and nerve conduction. Molecular Diagnostics examines DNA, RNA and other molecules linked to health and disease. Check the university's current syllabus for the exact curriculum.
Who can apply
10+2 or equivalent, without any background of vocational training, with at least 50% overall marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (latest JMI prospectus). Confirm the final conditions in the 2027–28 prospectus.

AMU and CUET (UG)
AMU
B52 is a JMI-specific code, and AMU does not offer this exact combination. AMU publishes its own programme list, eligibility and admission procedure, so prepare for the specific AMU medical or allied-health course you choose.
CUET (UG)
There is no universal CUET combination for these programmes. Relevant domain papers may include Biology/Biological Science/Biotechnology/Biochemistry, Chemistry and Physics; check the subject combination required by each target university.
How we prepare you
Preparation plan

B.Voc Medical Laboratory Sciences entrance: common questions
Which programmes are covered by JMI code B52?
B52 covers B.Voc Medical Laboratory Sciences, B.Voc Medical Electrophysiology and B.Voc Molecular Diagnostics, all self-financed programmes of DDU Kaushal Kendra.
What is the eligibility for JMI B52?
10+2 or equivalent with at least 50% overall marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology, subject to all university admission rules.
Is Biology compulsory for JMI B52?
Yes. The current eligibility requires Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the qualifying level, so PCB students are the relevant applicants.
Is JMI B52 admission through CUET?
No. For 2026–27 JMI conducted its own entrance test for B52. Check the 2027–28 prospectus for any change.
Is B52 an AMU entrance code?
No. B52 is specific to JMI. AMU has its own programme and admission structure.
Can I prepare for all three programmes together?
Yes. Because they share the B52 entrance, one PCB-based preparation covers all three; you choose your programme preference during the admission process.
