How to Prepare for M.A. Persian Entrance 2027

A strong preparation strategy should combine language proficiency with literary knowledge.

Start with Persian grammar and vocabulary because these provide the foundation for comprehension and translation.

Next, prepare the History of Persian Language and Literature chronologically. Create short notes on literary periods, major rulers and dynasties where relevant, major writers, poets and landmark works.

Prepare major authors using an Author – Period – Major Work – Literary Form – Contribution format. This makes revision easier for MCQ-based examinations.

Translation should be practised regularly, particularly vocabulary drawn from contemporary Persian newspapers, journals and general writing for CUET-PG.

Indo-Persian literature deserves separate preparation because it is specifically relevant to the CUET-PG syllabus and is also important for students studying Persian in Indian universities.

Finally, solve topic-wise MCQs, previous entrance questions where available and full-length mock tests.
