B.Sc. Biotechnology Entrance Coaching
Focused preparation for the JMI B.Sc. Biotechnology entrance test, built on a strong Class XI–XII foundation in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.
About B.Sc. Biotechnology
B.Sc. Biotechnology applies biology to technology: genetic engineering, molecular biology, microbiology, biochemistry, immunology and bioprocess techniques used in healthcare, agriculture, industry and research.
At JMI the programme is offered by the Department of Biotechnology as an 8-semester programme, and admission is through an entrance test conducted by JMI. Because both Biology and Mathematics students are eligible, a balanced Class XI–XII science base is the best preparation.
Who can apply
Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with not less than 50% marks in each science subject: Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics (JMI 2025–26 prospectus). Confirm the final conditions in the 2027–28 prospectus.
B.Sc. Biotechnology entrance syllabus
JMI does not publish a detailed question-wise pattern on its programme pages. Prepare the Class XI–XII (10+2) science syllabus and check the notified syllabus in the prospectus.
