B.Sc. (Hons) Chemistry Entrance Coaching
Focused preparation for the JMI B.Sc. (Hons) Chemistry entrance test, with a strong Class XI–XII science foundation that also supports AMU's B.Sc. (Hons) admission test and CUET (UG).
About B.Sc. (Hons) Chemistry
B.Sc. (Hons) Chemistry is an undergraduate programme on the structure, properties and reactions of matter, covering physical, inorganic, organic and analytical chemistry with substantial laboratory work.
At JMI the programme is offered by the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Natural Sciences, as an 8-semester programme. Admission is through an entrance test conducted by JMI, so a firm Class XI–XII base in Chemistry, together with Physics and Mathematics or Biology, is essential.
Who can apply
Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and/or Biology, and 50% marks in Chemistry (JMI 2025–26 prospectus). Confirm the final conditions in the 2027–28 prospectus.
B.Sc. (Hons) Chemistry entrance syllabus
JMI does not publish a detailed question-wise pattern on its programme pages. Prepare the Class XI–XII (10+2) science syllabus, with Chemistry as the core, and check the notified syllabus in the prospectus.

AMU and CUET (UG)
AMU B.Sc. (Hons) Chemistry
AMU holds its own admission test for B.Sc. (Hons) in the Faculties of Science and Life Sciences. Its syllabus covers English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. Check AMU's Guide to Admissions for the sections you must attempt for a Chemistry major.
CUET (UG)
Participating universities use CUET domain papers such as Chemistry (306), Physics (322) and Mathematics/Applied Mathematics (319). The required combination differs by university, so check each target university's rules.
