About B.A. (Hons) Mass Media (Hindi)
B.A. (Hons) Mass Media Hindi is an undergraduate programme at Jamia Millia Islamia, associated with the Department of Hindi, for students interested in media and communication with a strong orientation towards Hindi language and journalism.
The programme builds knowledge of Hindi journalism, print, electronic and digital media, radio, television, cinema, news writing and editing, advertising, public relations, social media and media language.
For 2026–27 JMI held the B38 entrance test on 9 May 2026. Successful preparation needs both strong Hindi and strong media awareness.
Who can apply
Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) or equivalent with not less than 50% marks in aggregate or in the subject concerned (JMI 2026–27 prospectus). Confirm the final conditions in the 2027–28 prospectus.
