Admission to Class XI in JMI and AMU schools is competitive and stream-specific. Each stream has its own subjects and weightage, so preparation must match the stream you are applying for.

One shared foundation
Mathematics, English and Class 10 subject concepts overlap, so students build one strong base for both universities.
Different weightages
AMU gives more weight to Social Studies and adds Indo-Islamic Culture, while JMI tests Social Science, Mathematics, English and GK more evenly. We run separate JMI-pattern and AMU-pattern mock tests.

What syllabus is the JMI Class 11 entrance based on?
The latest JMI prospectus states that the Class XI entrance syllabus is based on the CBSE Class 10 syllabus.
What is the JMI Class 11 Commerce exam pattern?
100 objective questions in 2 hours with no negative marking: Social Science 40, Mathematics 25, English 25 and General Knowledge 10.
How is the AMU Class 11 Commerce test different?
AMU gives Social Studies 60 marks and includes Indo-Islamic Culture (10), with Mathematics 20, English 5 and General Knowledge 5.
Can I prepare for JMI and AMU together?
Yes. Students build one Class 10 foundation and then practise each university's pattern separately.
Are online classes available?
Yes. Classes run in Jamia Nagar, New Delhi, and online for students in other cities.
